TL Metro - No MIDI Click

OK, I fired things up last night and plugged in TLMetro.. sure enough a few times, nothing when trying to start playback.. a couple of times with jumbled results, and mostly normal operation. (linked to transport and tempo, wait for note NOT enabled)

I had some instrument tracks open with plugins, and that my have been the culprit, but I can't help but believe that this is all related. It all seems to be a timing issue to me.

Oh well..

I've pretty much given up on using a metronome at all.. I just load a drum sample (1-2 bars) and just use audio. I have WAY fewer problems that way.

On the right of the plug-in where is says link status I chose transport only then went back to transport-tempo and it worked. I think it's just a matter of resetting it by clicking off it on back on it again. Don't know if this fixes your issue or not but that's how i get the thing to work.

I've looked at this post a couple of times over the past year or so and always had to bounce a click to get around the problem, but now I have a solution.

If anyone else still uses PT 8 HD like me then this video will solve all your problems the next time this happens.
