Default S3 12V board lights - not working

Is anyone successfully using a 12V board light with the S3?

For me, when I first boot the S3, the light turns on with initial start-up, but then shuts off as soon as the Avid logos appear onscreen. Same thing in Studio or Live mode.

Am I missing something about how to manually turn these on?

Thx.

I believe those are only functional for the S3-LX live system. I'll follow up tomorrow to confirm…

Thanks,
Tom

Also curious about this I have 2x XLR gooseneck lamps I use on my Allen & Heath console I usually send phantom power to them through the console.

I've tried them in the convenience ports on the S3 but can't get them to fire up.

Any ideas ?

Hi Guys,

I've confirmed the powering external lights is not enabled. In terms of feature importance it was deemed a low priority at launch. If enough people feel it is important, it can be moved up the list of things…

Thanks for your support,
Tom

Low importance. How freaking hard is it to turn on something so simple?

When you're talking about professional software such as Pro Tools, nothing is easy to implement...

Just rockin'...what more is there?

It's something I would definitely like to see made available.
