Default Does Strike come with PT8?

Hello, I have been pestering many people on here recentlyabout building my new PT system.

I now have it up and running, Windows XP and PT 8 installed no problems! but I was under the impression that Strike came with PT8?

Is this not the case?

I created a new instrument track and went to put strike on but I couldn't see it in any of the menus, am I doing something silly or is it not there!

Chris.

Strike is a extra cost plug in. Boom however is free. Probably not what you wanted to hear

You also should have a lite version of BFD.

There are some nice "acoustic" drum kicks, snares, hats in Xpand2 worth checking out.

024 Drums -> Kicks Selector X2+
024 Drums -> Snares Selector X2+

Just scroll through the sounds and se if you find someting you like.

Not sure if "the doggies" is good or not... Hopefully it is!

BFD is great. I even like Boom - although it has really crappy sounds. Does anyone know if you can put "user sounds" into it? Otherwise, I find it somewhat useless.

The cool thing about BFD is its MIDI. You can program beats in it and then transfer the Midi data to better sounding drum units like BFD Full.

And as stated above, don't underestimate Xpand2. It really is pretty good. The only thing I miss there are the individual outputs. The velocity sensitivity is really quite remarkable.
