freeze when locating files in 5.1
I recorded a 30 track session in PT HD (5.3.1r2). I then did a "Save session Copy in..." as PT 5, to send to another studio. I did not copy the media, because it was 35 gigs. The other studio's PT freezes when locating audio files using the PT 5 copy on a Mix system. How can they open the session, and locate the files, without freezing or crashing?

Re: freeze when locating files in 5.1
Hi,
If you are running 5.3.1 and they are running 5.1 they should be able to open your original session document. You may want to have them try this. What kind of drive is the session on? It may be a formatting or driver issue. I would start with having them try the original session document. Hope this helps. Thanks, Digidesign Tech Support |
