If that is true, my Duet 2 played a 100 track session on OSX Lion, Mac Pro, PT9. What does this say about Native???

Hey,

Not to be a traffick director but if you want to speak with Avid/get a response from Avid they clearly state these forumns are not the way to get them to come in on a conversation, and in most cases if you call them out by name, probably will avoid it even more as everyone will be posting questions/comments to Avid on this "users" forumn.

I recommend you contact Avid directly.

Smile Re: HD native Error Report - AVID, you need to read this!

I was getting error -9129 all the time on an HD Native system / Omni interface on my quadcore MacBook pro on OSx 10.6.8 protools 10.1.1 until I did the following:
I hooked the omni adat in/out to my other HD rig to get a digital clock signal into the omni and I've never seen the error again?! Coinsidence, who knows.

Interestingly; if I run the the exact same setup without the native HD hardware and use my presonus Lightpipe firewire interface instead I never have a single issue!

That said, I experimented with Lion a month ago and all I had were problems! Went back to SL and all was good. I don't know if was just plugin incomparablity
Or OS related but I ain't going to Lion again until everthing has been sorted out.

Think about a new writer, you've used that line a lot up here.

Also, more roughage in your diet will definitely help the problem in general.

thanks...
4 gig is barely enough for a computer to run PT and the rest of what OSX needs. Remember that almost ANY spec a software vendor gives is a minimum needed to have the program barely run; it doesn't mean that it'll run well under a heavy load. Just because it runs under PT9 does NOT mean it'll run with no problems under PT10. Spend the money and put more ram into the computer. Put 32 gig in and you should be good to go for a long time. That much ram will also allow you to use the new disk cache feature and up your performance.

RAM is nice to have, but does not help the problem. I have 24 gig in my Mac and still getting these 9092 errors since I updated to 10.1.3

If anyone finds a solution I will be more than happy.

I am going back to 10.0.1
At least then I could chase LTC in DF and errors were rare.
