Default New system exclusively for the 001

I am about to buy a PC specifically for using Digi 001. Here is the configuration. Please let me know if there are improvments I should make or any problems people may have with any of these components. Thanks.

Asus Cusl2 Pentium III 866 MHz, 64 MB PC133
Win 98 SE
256 MB RAM
2 20 GB 7200 ATA100 HD's
32MB geFORCE IIMX video card
50X CD ROM
4X TEAC CD-R Drive

I tried to do my homework on this one, but it will be nice to hear from users.

Thanks for the info - good point about the SCSI drives. Let me know how your system works (and any pitfalls you might have encountered).

Thanks again.

You definitely want to go with a scsi drive for reading/writing the tracks in pro tools. I tried to send it to an IDE drive (by mistake actually) instead of the scsi drive I had installed and it wouldn't get more than 2 seconds into it before it would abort and complain about HW buffers.
