Cut and pasted four times in one post????

Have you done ANY tweaking after reinstalling Win7? Have you followed the suggestions in HELP US HELP YOU or the Win7 troubleshooting threads? Have you done anything to sort this out other than to start another thread complaining about Avid/Protools? You say you only have a 'few' programs installed.. what are they? Have you tried going back to 9.0? You've been around long enough to know the routine...

Why don't you start with posting a SANDRA and tell us exactly what you have done and then maybe we'll have an idea of how to help.

Not exactly what a usual Sandra report looks like, but this catches my eye:
Windows System : Microsoft Windows Vista Business Media Center 6.01.7600
Why does it say Vista when you have Windows 7? What do you see if you right-click on MyComputer and select Properties? What Windows 7 disk do you have(upgrade or full install)?

My suggestion at this stage would be to wipe the drive and start from the beginning. Get Win7 up and running and make sure it's working fine FIRST!

THEN install pt9. Start with 9.0.0 and update ONLY IF YOU NEED TO.

I'm still on 9.0.0 and working just peachy. But that's just me.
