System Requirements
When can we expect to see some factual system requirements for the 001? Everyone at DigiWorld poked around with their answers to this question. "If you have a B&W G3 or G4 you will be fine". What does fine mean. What can I expect?
The demo I saw with of the 001 was running off the internal drive of a G4. Will I be able to get by with running off an internal drive that comes with a G3 or G4 (IDE). If not, what SCSI cards are recommended? Please give me some answers other than "Get a lot of RAM". Thanks. |

Re: System Requirements
We will have new Compatibility Docs for all of the Pro Tools and PT LE 5.0 systems in the next 2 weeks. We haven't released version 5.0 yet, so the exact system requirements are not yet available.
We don't want to guess or give a rough estimate, but we are very close to completing testing and will post those documents asap. Hang in there for another week or 2 at the most and we'll have everything you need. ------------------ Bruce Paine Digidesign eMarketing
