Default Half of imported video showing green screen

For a number of years and for multiple versions of Pro Tools, I have been able to import concert-length h.264 video files in a .mov container into Pro Tools without issue (essentially concatenated MTS files extracted from an AVCHD container).

Until I updated to Pro Tools 2018.X

Now, half of the video shows up as green screen, with occasional picture. I have tried changing buffer sizes, enabling and disabling the video engine, changing the video track to view blocks instead of frames (and vice versa), quitting and relaunching.

Yes, I have the latest Codecs installed (also have Media Composer Ultimate installed, so we should be covered there...)

Not sure what is going on here, but it's a real drag. Running a 21.5" iMac Retina 4K, 3.6 Ghz i7 with 32 GB of RAM

Any ideas?

You should make a test by converting those h264 to supported formats such as DNxHD or ProRes.
h264 is sluggish and the green screen might be because it was not exported with keyframes.
I always ask production for DNxHD 36 or ProRes proxie.
If I do get h264 I convert it right away.
BTW, you didn't mention whether the green video is in PT's video window or on an external video card.

Thanks HomeStudio.

It's on the PT video window.

So the plot thickens.

Played the same session on my MacBook Pro and no problemo - video shows up fine. A little laggy at times, but at least it works.

Not sure if the difference is the machine or the OS: iMac is running 10.13; MacBook is running 10.12.

Both machines have the Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB graphics, but MacBook also has Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB listed.
