Can't Find Rewire Plug In In Pro Tools & BFD
Hi there,
I'm attempting to use BFD as a multichannel plug in, but only get the stereo option. I have heard that there is a rewire option that would work, but can't seem to find it in Pro Tools. The digirewire.dpm plug in is in the pro tools plug in folder, but the rewire dll is not in the windows system folder. In my insert options in Pro Tools I can't find a rewire option anywhere, i'm assuming this comes supplied with pro Tools or do i need additional software? I'm runnning pro tools 8.03 on windows XP service pack 3 Any help would be much apprciated...! Ta, Rog |

Re: Can't Find Rewire Plug In In Pro Tools & BFD
You don't need to re-wire BFD. The Stereo option gives you all you need....each track in the mixer window can be sent to 1 of 8 stereo outs or 1 of 16 mono outs. The stereo outs are mainly for the OH, room and ambience channels.
All the info you need is in the .pdf manual.

Re: Can't Find Rewire Plug In In Pro Tools & BFD
Solved the problem, needed to install a version of the Rewire driver (I didn't realise that this isn't bundled with Pro Tools) - I downloaded the demo version of Reason and that seems to do the trick
