Default 2 Tfts 90° shifted - anyone done that?

I'm mostly dealing with lots of tracks, which makes a continuous up and down-scrolling necessary. Now I know, you can flip Tfts 90°, so they have a lot of vertical real estate.
I was thinking about combining two of them, so I have a good height as well as a good width. Has anyone done that and can tell me, if this makes sense, or if this gives you (literally) pains in the neck?
How annoying is the border between those two screens (subjective matter, I know - but still...)?

Would be glad to get some input here. Thanks!

I've thought about it but spiting the Edit window across 2 screens usually puts your prime editing spot at the split

You're right about that. But I think you might get used to it. Revising my common "editing strategies" would be a price I'd pay for not having to play this eternal "up, down - where am I? - up again, two down, there I am"-game any more.
I'm just so damn indecisive about it.

I'd say just get a bigger monitor/TV so you can set your resolution higher.

Problem is, I won't get a satisfying resolution with only one screen. I already have a 24". 27" won't improve much vertically, and 30" are way to expensive.
Maybe another solution would be, to put 2 24" screens on top of each other. Are there any stands for that purpose? I can't be the only one in the world, who wants his DAW spread up vertically...

Okay, I just found some stands for that purpose. But 300$ is a big spend for a stupid stand. Guess I'll think about it some more.

Check out this website:

I have one of their laptop stands and it is very heavy duty.

Thanks a lot, John! This sounds way more reasonable.

i dont have my monitors stacked vertically, but there is a hot key to make all tracks smaller, and when used correctly can be used just like the ctrl + ] or [.

Thanks Nick, but that doesn't help. For example I like to have three plugin automation views underneath each dialogue track (size 'small'), so I don't have to adjust anything, when I need to edit. And this just consumes a huge amount of vertical space.
Of course one might call that "lazy princess attitude", but I like having it as comfortable as possible, which results in being faster and more efficient.
