Default Strike 1.0.3 - how to export Midi to separate tracks?

Hi everyone, I'm using Strike 1.0.3, and can't find anywhere online on how to export Midi to separate tracks?

I have a few sequences that were put together for a song, but am wanting to utilize the midi for the drum parts with other sample programs.

I want to be able to have the bass drum on a separate midi track, snare on a separate track and so on.

Or....

Have 1 midi track, with all of the parts in their various places, so i can have them read / played back by other midi drum programs.

Can anyone please help me out?

Many thanks!!

Hey there, thank you SO much for your reply!!

Will look into this today!!

BTW to answer your question: I'm running Pro Tools 8.0.5 LE and running OSX 10.6.8

I'm using Strike 1.0.3, and in reading the last link you posted it mentioned the following:

12.16.2009 1.0.3
  • adds support for Snow Leopard to 1.x
download

Do i need to download this? Or will i be ok as I am currently?

Many thanks.

If you already have Strike version 1.0.3 working – there’s no need to download and install the download listed – as it updates a previous version to 1.0.3 – which you’re already using.

(If you click on the download link – it’s called: strike_103_updater_63874.dmg)

PS – I found this a great help:

Thanks for the P.S. link at the bottom.

Unfortunately only 1 out of all the other tutorials were unlocked. the one that would help me is Exporting Midi, and it's locked.

I've already paid for the Plug in, i'm not going to pay again to figure out how it works. The manual should be included (either in the box or online). There was no manual in the box.

Hey there, i'm still having alot of problems exporting.

Any time I have exported the different pieces in the song, they export all to the same midi note.

The bass drum and the snare are not being exported to different midi notes - that another plug in could recognize and play it's own sounds over those midi notes.

Does anyone have any fool proof youtube or video links that fully explain step by step on what to do?

The manual is a basic comb over, and does not get into the specific details on everything you need to do.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you.
