Default Center Speaker Output playback on Left & Right speaker

Hi,

I have a problem here. My center output from OMNI, playback on my Left & Right speaker instead of Center speaker.

I have already check the panning and it turns out to be normal for L,R,Ls,Rs and Lfe. I even tried to switch cable from Left speaker to Center speaker and the Center speaker function normally.

But, if i switch Center speaker cable to Left (or other speakers), no sound came out from it. At first, I suspected that the XLR cable damaged. Turns out to be the same problem after I switch to a new XLR cable.

Could it be my DB25-XLRM cable or OMNI Analog 1-8 Outputs is the problem ?

Hmmm

System :

Apple Mac Pro (Late 2013)
16 GB RAM
OSX Version 10.9.5 (Mavericks)
Avid Omni
Pro Tools HD Native 11.3.2

Question Re: Center Speaker Output playback on Left & Right speaker

What is the divergence value for the mixer channel whose content you are trying to playback through the center speaker?

Default Re: Center Speaker Output playback on Left & Right speaker

First, an observation; you typed " L,R,Ls,Rs and Lfe", so where is C in this output routing?(If its not used, there's the issue). Maybe double-check your outputs in Setup>IO>Output tab

To test the DB25 cable, put up a blank session with a mono AUX track with the signal generator plugin(lower the fader before you add the plugin). Select Pink noise, bring the fader up and listen. Panning this track full left should be noise from left only, full right should be noise from right only and panned center should be centered between the 2 speakers(assuming a stereo out and not surround). If it does anything else, maybe 2 pins in the DB25 are touching
