Can't upgrade to 8.0.4, help please

I am currently running PT LE 8.0.3 on Windows XP SP3 on my iMac (bootcamp 2.2) with an 002 console.

When I upgraded to 8.0.4, the 002 was no longer recognised. When launching PT, I receive a 'please connect hardware'. Turning the 002 on and off makes no difference. Everything is exactly as it was under 8.0.3 where it worked.

I have uninstalled PT completely, and reinstalled carefully following the instructions of when the hardware should be connected and when it should be disconnected. 8.0.3 always works fine, 8.0.4 never works.

I have also tried installing the 8.0.4 cs2 and the seperate drivers install that comes with that, again no joy.

I am puzzled and would like to get it working, any help appreciated,

I would go back to 8.0.3 and stay there(maybe add the cs updates for 8.0.3) or stay at 8.0.1cs2. As long as you have XP, there is no good reason to go to 8.0.4, and a few good reasons to avoid it(you found one already, and there are some serious timing issues as well). Personally, if I had a Mac, I would simply run the Mac version(but you may have some good reason for needing the PC version)
