How do I export Tracks in WAV & AIFF?

Did a Search & couldn't find the answer. Any links as to how to do this is appreciated.

Search youtube for "export audio in pro tools"(without the quotes). Its all done at the CLIPS bin on the right side of the EDIT window

you also might want to consolidate the track first

There is a keyboard shortcut to bring up the Export Clips As Files dialogue. In that, chose what format/sample rate and location for the files. The Clips will be Exported with the names each Clip has.

Or, name them and copy them out of the session's Audio Folder if they will be the same format/sample rate.

I watched several YouTubes. Looks like there are many ways to do this. Some are so confusing they weren't making any sense?? I shook my head & moved to the next one.

A couple seemed well done & were step by step. I'll give them a try later tonight.

Question; When I do the Export to Save & create a Zip File does that store on my Computer or my External Hard Drive? I prefer it to be the latter.

You just tell it where to save the file or at least make a note of where it got saved and then move it to your external drive.

Question: any real reason you need aiff format?
