Default Bank Swapping on Expanded ProControl?

Have 32 channel ProControl currently configured as (L to R)... Faderpack(1) - Faderpack(2) - Main Unit - Edit Pack - Faderpack(3).

Is there a way to 'bank swap' the left most Faderpack(1) with the Main Unit??

I can get the 'right' banks to move left but not the other way and using 'Go To' puts the faders to the far left bank.

Thanks...

(Using the latest PT 5.1.3/OS 9 )

Default Re: Bank Swapping on Expanded ProControl?

The long answer is you can bank across the 32 ch. ProControl fader by fader or in banks of 8 faders. But you can't 'bank swap' from one unit to another.

So the short answer is no.

But actually you can 'bank swap' from Fader pack to Fader pack by configuring the order of your Fader packs in the Peripherals window without changing the Fader packs physically from place to place. But this is not possible with a Main unit and a Fader pack... I think... because I have never tried it and also I doubt it would work anyway. But you never know, so please feel free to try it out!

BTW, Mac OS OS 9.2.2 was the best Mac OS ever! I still have an old G4 with Mac OS OS 9.2.2 and it still feels snappier then any other recent Mac I own with any versions of OS X.
