Default Repair recommendation needed

I just bought a used PC and even though it's an older serial # KH0..... It checks out fine for the most part. It hadn't seen a lot of use. Only 1 issue has been found with it. When some buttons are depressed such as Mono, Dim, Mute, bank select, etc. there's a click or pop coming through the speaker. Sounds like a dried capacitor to me, but when I asked my local Digi dealer about it, they said they'd have to ship the PC to Digi. I guess they won't give the schematics out. I was hoping to avoid sending it in if possible, but any suggestions? I'm not personally to Technical in this sense, but know people who are. Would it be a big deal to let them check it out? Any suggestions? Stan Cotey are you out there? Figure I 'd try posting here first before calling in....TIA!!!!

Default Re: Repair recommendation needed

It sounds to me like your problem is in the analog board, which should be replaced anyway, since the original one that shipped with the Pro Control has been significantly improved. Of course, this improvement will cost you about $350.00, but it make the headphone output actually usable, so it might be worth it.
