Default I'm looking at a sound option for my high school football stadium

Not Church related, but I'm looking at a sound option for my high school football stadium. We used to use old horns, but those have finally bit the dust. It doesn't needed to be waterproof as we're looking at only setting them up for the games. My thoughts were to purchase two speakers we could mount on the home side bleachers. I also thought maybe about putting two smaller speakers on the home side and two on the visitor side but the problem of connecting speakers from that far away from the mixer located on the home side. I'd have to run cable around the field as the school doesn't want to dig up the 50 yard line. Any ideas or recommendations. I was looking at maybe two JBL Srx815's for the first option but open to other ideas. Looking to keep budget pretty low.

Hmm, long throw and low budget don't travel together You might find a deal on some old EAW KF900 boxes and those might fill the bill. Getting long throw from anything that is NOT horn-loaded is a tall order. Modern line array systems are ideal, but not a "budget" option. Self-powered stacks could get away with only a power cable(a hefty power cable) and signal could be sent over radio(but I prefer a wired connection). I'm not sure there is a solution that fits all your needs
