Hi all

Does anyone know where I can get an old copy of PT 5.3.3 from? I'm trying to get an old D24 based system to work and avid download support doesn't go back that far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought that system would run on 6.4?

I tried installing running 6.4.1 but it wasn't at all happy. Seems to see the card ok but continually asks me to connect/turn on my interface when I boot PT. There's no mention of card compatibility on the avid page for 6.4.1 but the archive page for 5.3.3 definitely lists the d24. I'm assuming it's a compatibility issue but could be i'm missing something crucial.

My guess is that your interface is connected to the "wrong" card. As I recall, the configuration of things with a D24 was not what I'd call "obvious". Try connecting your interface to each Digi card in turn, and see if it works. Of course do any reconnecting of cables with the power off.

Thanks for the idea but i've taken the dsp farm out and just tried to install and connect the interface to the d24 to reduce variables. PT still not seeing the 882 although the card passes digitest.
