Default Soundtoys Summer Sessions Sale

Some great deals on offer through to August 15

http://www.soundtoys.com/

You can pick up 'must-have' plugins like EchoBoy and Decapitator for $99 each.

Soundtoys 5 is down from $499 to $399 and it gets better;

I already have Sie-Q and Tremolater (stuff they gave away for free at some point) so I get the up-grade offer of $199 for the entire Soundtoys suite.

At current rates that's just under €175

I did not pass up on that opportunity...

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I've been demoing the new Eventide UltraTap and it's okay but has several things I'm not nuts about even at the intro price. I have several delays and such and was looking for something a bit different. Looking at the Echo Boy and the emulations it has brought a tear to my eye, having had several back in the day. I have a question for those that have EB - how faithfully does it emulate the original hardware? I mean does it bandwidth limit the signal like the original h/w would? Or is it full spectrum? Not that either is a bad thing but there are times I like to use fx on sounds other than what they would normally be used on - Jon Luc Ponty is my inspiration for that.

I haven't worked with the hardware so I can't make any comparisons but EB is tweak-able beyond belief!

It has simple HiCut/LoCut filters and -of course- a saturation knob but if you open the style editor you get another plethora of EQ, filters, saturation, modulation, feedback-modes an other options. It's just insanely cool.

I have the collection and it's amazing. They did a great holiday sale a while back.

Got an email 2 days ago (the 17th) that the sale was extended through the 22nd. Yesterday was listening to some YouTube videos of the different plugs and the wife was crazy about one for EchoBoy where they had playing a tune on piano that sounded Halloweenish. I told her I'd demoe'd the plug but was not too nuts about it but on second thought I figured I could make do with it. So I purchased it; the install and iLok business went smoothly. Interesting things with piano into it and when I tried guitar through it - noice as Onslow would say. Happy camper thanks to my wife.

BTW if you're not part of the Soundtoys ecosystem and are looking at the bundle here's a cheap way to get in. Buy EchoBoy at $99 on sale and then the upgrade price to go full boat is another $159 for a total of $258. Current sale price for the bundle is $399. Not bad eh?

I would call 'em and tell them what your situation is. I have done so in the past and they were quite helpful. I have a combo of versions of their plugins, some TDM and some Native and I got them with their help. Unfortunately, I don't know if they can go past version 3 with the TDM stuff.

There is a link on the product page to request legacy installers. However that is only for current cusmers so probably owners of v5 can ask for v4 no problem
