Required software extensions are missing (Pace)
My old laptop died and the only Macbook Pro available to buy was an i7 / Lion.
After installing 9.0.5, when I try to open Pro Tools, all i get is a pop-up directing me to the Pace site to download extensions. After I download, install and restart, I still get the same message... over and over and over. I've looked at the other postings, no help. Thanks in advance. - Chaz

Have you updated any/all 3rd party plug-ins for Lion?
MCDsp, Waves, Sony Oxford, etc....

It can't hurt having the latest versions as a number of plug-ins (besides the vendors I've listed) use pace protection and therefore the latest updates should be applied.

You need the PACE app and then the license. Is your iLok plugged in?
