Can't Select USB Audio Interface
Hello, I'm trying to record some guitar in a PT First session, but the audio track I'm using doesn't have the USB Audio Device i'm using as an option in the input menu. I've tried messing around with all different configurations in the Playback Engine and Hardware menus but nothing is working. If I open up Garageband it works fine.
I'm using a Behringer Guitar Link USB Interface (UC6102), with my guitar signal going straight into it. There is also a headphone socket on the device and audio is outputting through there from Pro Tools fine, it's just not going into Pro Tools from the device. I may just be doing something stupidly wrong or missing something really obvious, but I can't seem to figure it out, and I can't find anything online. Screen Shot 2015-07-19 at 15.31.30.png |

Re: Can't Select USB Audio Interface
You mean UCG102 right? Since it works on Garageband you must have downloaded and installed its (latest?) ASIO driver - right? So, before starting PT, make sure you use the device's control panel to set it's sample rate to whatever Pro Tools' last used sample rate was. You'll also need to set the device's Buffer size to something that PT supports (64, 128, 256, 512, or 1024). Then, can you see it listed as a Playback Engine option after starting Pro Tools?
What computer/OS are you using? p.s. You're likely hearing thru the UCG102, not PT. Quote:
