Digidesign 002 Rack Problem
Hi,
I'm having trouble with a Digidesign 002 Rack I just got (used), and hoping somebody can help me fix it. My problem is after hooking up a mic to the first port, having hooked up the 002 to my iBook using a USB, and going through Garageband, the sound coming through the monitor is just a lot of static and clicks. I fiddled with the buttons on the rack, as well as settings on Audio/Midi setup through Utilities Folder, in Sound Preferences on System Prefs and also on Garageband Prefs. Nothing seems to work. I have installed the Coreaudio Driver and it is working, and through the Usage Guide that comes with it, I've set everything up so that in Audio and Sound Prefs, "Digidesign 002" comes up as the Input preference. So, that's all the specs I have on what is happening, and I've fiddled around a lot but nothing seems to fix the problem. Any ideas on what is wrong or how I could fix it? Thanks Steve |

Re: Digidesign 002 Rack Problem
There's your problem. The 002 is firewire and you used USB. How in the world did you get the cable to fit?
