Exclamation Audible "POP" after recording?? PT 10.2

Is anyone experiencing this weird symptom? After updating to 10.2 (which runs awesome by the way) I have noticed that after I record any audio (vocals, guitars, etc.) I now experience a pop sound at the end of every clip. It almost seems like it is amplifying and recording my space bar?? It gets annoying because it requires me to trim the last millisecond off each clip I record.

Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks!

This is an old bug that plagued 9 really bad and the original build of 10. I have not seen it or heard of it in the last few builds. Have you deleted and rebuilt the prefs and databases?? I would also go through the recommended tweaks by avid. I think something is a bit quirky w your system.

I suspect its hardware related. It doesn't happen here. Although, sometime, when I bounce to disk with a fade(on the master track) when the bounce ends, there is a split second noise right at the end(easily trimmed off after the fact).

Hmm...I have optimized and tweaked my system according to Avid's instructions. I am not sure (and sort of doubt) if it is related to my system either because I was recording in PT 10 at my friend's studio this weekend, on his new MacBook Pro. When I told him to update to 10.2 from 10.1.2, this issue also began to happen with his system. I think it may be that old bug you speak of.

Anyone else noticing this?

I have had this problem since 10.0. I never bothered updated to 10.1 but plan to update to 10.2 soon, I'll see if this is fixed.

Cheers

I'm experiencing the same problem after upgrading to 10.2 from 10.1.2. There is an annoying pop at the end of recording takes which is not visible in the waveform. Has anyone figured out what causes this bug? Will trashing the preferences fix it?

Yeah I get that too, although it does show up in the waveform for me if I zoom in enough, can just trim the last few milliseconds off and it's fine. Definitely annoying though

Yup, I have it also on 10.2, but not consistently. Easy enough to eliminate though.
