pro tools 10 HD stuck at Initializing Hardware (DSI)

PT 10 CANT LAUNCH , GETS stuck on the 'initializing hardware ' status.

No digidesign hardware selected in sound in or out
Tried holding N key upon launch
system profile sees the pci cards.
Digi test does not seem to do anything
I have safe AND clean un installed , reinstalled PT,
trashed the normal prefs and p lists

ANY ideas ??
Appreciate the help .

Mac 6 core westmere 10.7.3
PT 10.1.2
HD 192 w accel
all ilok licenses fine
all ilok drivers installed

Did it used to work? When I had this problem this was the cause:

def used to work , took them carefully out of one mac to the new mac.
old mac no problem , new one this issue Ill examine the cards
