Default Whats this Shortcut???

Some users on here (about a year ago) gave me some great shortcut tips and Im sure I printed them out but can't now find them....?

Im looking for something like "export audio as a reigon"?

I record audio/sample loop into PTHD as an editor and make cuts/edits etc and higlight by holding SHIFT + clicking and im sure there was a shortcut for exporting all that was higlighted as a new sample to use in another program (like Ableton)

It bypassed consolidate and bouncing i thought.... it was a simple shortcut that glued all parts into 1 new sample or loop?

Any ideas?

Sounds like you could use two things:

Shift-Option 3 is consolidate selection-you do edits and want to "flatten" the file in preparation for exporting. Remember to make sure all your crossfades are good, Auto Fades aren't a part of consolidating.

and

Command-Shift-K: export selected as files-this is where you can take one or more regions/files and export them in whatever bit depth/SR you like.

Unless I'm not getting what you're doing.

Thanks for this..

im sure it was something like the shift+option+3 to flatten the performance as a stereo file

But when i flatten this into a new region to export to another DAW (after editing in Protools) it saves or "flattens" as 2 different MONO files - Can I get this to export or flatten as a stereo interleaved file?

Thanks

In the export region dialog select "stereo interleaved"

Thanks thats great...

I just thought that just "flattening" the file could be stereo also?

the Shift+Option+3 - does this always do seperate mono files when saving to your hard disk?
