Waves IR-L stops passing audio???

I'm running PT v7.1cs9 on an HD3 (non accel) / G5 Dual 2.5GHz / 3.5 GB RAM / Waves Diamond TDM v5.2 (WUP is up to date)

Every now and then when I have a Waves IR-L (full) plugin on a stereo Aux track, it kind of goes to sleep. Stops passing audio all together. Making the plug-in "inactive" then reactivating it brings it back ot life. Anyone had this problem? Fixes?

I've seen the same thing happen on our HD(5) system with a Core, Accel and 3 HD process cards, using PT7.1.cs9 and OS10.4.3

I stopped experimenting with IR-L after these phenomenon and the fact that apparently one can't automate the impulses during a mix. I want to be able to change the impulse while I'm mixing a 50 minute tv drama episode and apparently only 3 parameters could be automated and not the impulse. Am I missing something or is this a limitation of the Light version?

slide the plug in insert into another insert position ahh umm other than its orig location[ie 1-6] it will clear up and be cool
