Default NIC questions

Windows 10 - Pro Tools 2018 Ultimate Native question.

I am thinking about building a new machine.

I note that Avid recommends disabling embedded Intel I218-LM NIC on some machines but not others. In fact it is a recommended NIC for ISIS use in some. Does anyone here have any comments pro or con about this?

Also the Intel I210-T1 PCIe NIC. Same question.

Is there an overall preferred NIC for Pro Tools use?

Thank you
