Default DAE error -4 followed by - 9003 during Hardware Initialize

Hello
I just bought the HD1 PCIe Accel Core with Protools HD 7.4.2r2. I have a Rosetta 800 with X-HD and upgraded to the lastest firmware. As soon as I started the program, it say
DAE error -4 followed by - 9003 during the Hardware Initialize.

Also, Digitest quit by itself when I run the test on the TEST Page. I can do the ID test on the TEST Page and I can see the Hardware information. But when I turn on the Rosetta 800, I couldn't run the ID test on the Test Page....

I tried to run Protools HD 7.4.2r2 with OSX 10.4.7

Mar Pro 3.0 Quad Core
OSX 10.5.3
HD1 PCIe Accel Core
Protools HD 7.4.2r2
Rosetta 800 with X-HD

Please Help!
Thank you

Hi,

Looks like you are using the wrong version of pto tools for you MAC OSX!

If you have TIGER installed then you have to install Pro Tools 7.4

http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...&categoryid=36

You want the bottom one in the list... "Pro Tools HD 7.4 Backup Web Installers" and then this one...
Pro Tools HD 7.4 Web Installer (Mac OS X Universal Binary

If you have LEOPARD installed THEN you install 7.4.2r2

uninstall the current PT install-reboot-then re-install the correct version! the uninstaller is in mack hd/applications/digidesign/pro tools

You might want to update your mac osx to 10.4.10 using the "COMBO UPDATER" from the apple website.
Once you have got everything running then install cs5 (7.4cs5) which has various bug fixes

Chris

Well, I'm on a PC system I've been using for two years and out of nowhere....I start getting the exact same thing! It's been perfectly fine, nothing's changed. I'm running PT7.3...just last week I was tracking my church service, now it won't even boot. I'm using a ProTools HD3 Accel (PCI) with a 96io and a Venue console. I've pulled the cards, re-installed software, defragged, and no go. It locks up or gives me the error DAE -4 right on bootup (initializing hardware) and then Error 9003. If I run Digitest, it crashes.
