HD now Irrelevant?

Current HD hardware is now legacy, isn't the future state just varying levels of HD? Complete Production Tool kit 2 = HD? I don't know this is confusing...

So what is the point of an HD designation?

well, CPU-wise, HD is still the most powerful setup, also some features will still be limited to HD, since they are hardware-based. So, don't throw away your rig just yet, think twice

HEAT is still HD only, isn't it? Also, the 48-bit mixer, TDM plugins etc etc?
