Default 11.3.2 on 2009 imac with 10.10.5

Hi

just wondering if anyone can run PT 11.3.2 on an early 2009 imac - 2.66Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo - using 10.10.5??? According to this page -http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/compatibility/Pro-Tools-11-Qualified-Apple-Computers - I need an i5 CPU but i was able to run PT 11.3 on 10.9 on this imac!! Only after updating to 10.10 did the problem start - when i try to run PT it just hangs on the first splash screen and i have to force quit. Just curious to see if anyone is using this combination successfully!

Many thanks,

dk

Unless you have a real reason for using Yosemite I'd suggest going back to Mavericks. - You do have a backup clone right? That's the best insurance when things go bad. Sometimes one can get away with skirting Avid's compatibility lists but sometimes one gets bit. That cpu isn't helping things any. How much ram do you have? PT really likes to see a minimum of 8 gig.
