Default Newbie Question from long time user

Hi All,

Can you help?

Suddenly I am seeing a skewed grabber tool (see below) that is doing something I don't know what is? Also my normal grabber function is gone.

1) How do I get back to normal grabber functionality and 2) what is the skewed grabber ment to be used for?

Skewed grabber

Normal grabber

Embarrassed long time user on..

PT 2020.3/Mac OS 10.15.3

Hmmmm, I have never seen that, even as an option. I suspect its a setting in Mac settings(not in Pro Tools). Happy to be wrong, but that's where I would start looking

I don't think it's a MAC OS setting, since when I open up a old sessions it is not there. But if I import tracks from the "infected" sessions into a new session - it is still there.

Anybody?

Never seen that.
Could it be a modifier key stuck on your keyboard?
No. If it's showing up only on specific sessions.
What do the sessions have in common?
What do the sessions with normal grabber have in common? Creation PT version? Types of tracks, plugins they contain?

The skewed grabber looks like an emaciated hand. Perhaps you need to feed PT more bytes?
Sorry...that was really bad, I know. You may now return to you regularly scheduled help, of which I have none!
