Wondering if anyone else is seeing this? Tired on three different systems and they all do it... once the app opens, it sits for awhile then this error comes up:
ServerUnexpectedException:java.lang.NullPointerExc eption You can login, eventually, but if you try to sync the same error comes up after 10-minutes of doing nothing. I'll post to iLok's site, as well.

Glad it got sorted. The internet has been crazy of late with regards to traffic and a number of sites being subject to DDOS attacks (distributed denial of service).

I'm assuming you were using iLok's cloud authentication, hence the issue when iLok servers were having problems. This is one reason some of us still prefer the old hardware iLok USB dongles for authentication of licenses. Once in a few months we hear of cloud problems that leave studios and audio professions without their primary tool. Even with no internet access or online server problems, a physical iLok will still allow you to use Protools. Just something to think about.

Nope, the app would provide the error while trying to connect on four different systems, all with iLok hardware attached. iLok solved the issue within hours with the explanation it was an error that applied to multiple, random clients.
