Default Re: Avid Control Desktop Black Screen

I was only able to download EUCON Workstation Unified 2022.12.1.34. I installed the Avid Control Desktop from the install options and nothing else (eg S1, S3). The screen is black with no indication as to what may need to be adjusted.

Please follow my previous instructions and download EuControl not Avid Control Desktop.

Yes! I downloaded EuControl and during the installation process, there are only options for the type of surface to use. There is no EuControl option during the installation of the EuControl application that my Avid Link instructed me to download for use with a control surface.

After downloading Eucontol, I only have an application in the Eucon folder that says MC Client. When I run MC Client, it puts an MC Client icon in my taskbar which states to right-click for more options. When I right-click, the only options are - About and Exit.

I think you may be confusing Avid Control Desktop for the Avid Control tablet application - for your computer to get the Avid Control app to work you need to select "S1 / S3 / Dock / Control / Artist Series" from the Installer.

Please try that and see if that helps. I can post some pics if you're still having issues

Yes! You and Eddie were right! I just noticed that this morning and everything is working perfectly now. I did not get that control was listed as part of the S1 S3 sections.
