mcdsp ilok problem HELP !!!!

Hi

I'm posting this in case anyone out there can help, as my mails to McDSP keep bouncing back off their email server! (They are usually excellent with customer service - a great company BTW)

I've been using AC & Filterbank from McDSP on challenge/response authorisations, which have now expired. My ilok keys arrived, and I don't get an option to authorize from the mcdsp authorizer using ilok. Any clues ? I've GOT to do some sessions using these and I'm stuck ! Colin and the McDSP folks may already be down at NAMM, since I know they'll be there. The only thing I might suggest is downloading and installing the iLok extensions:

Colin gave me some special 3 month keys for use until the ilok cards shipped. I've tried reinstalling from the "green disk 6" to no avail..

Hmmm. I just installed mc2000 as a trial version off the green disk, and lo and behold theres a "use my ilok to authorize" checkbox in the authorizer. It seems like it goes away and never comes back if you use the "challenge & response" option, as I did with temporay keys on the other 2 plugs.
Looks like I'm screwed until they get back from NAMM. Not Happy ! [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img]

Are you sure you didn't install the demos initally?
With some plugs, you need to reinstall the actualy plg, not the demo
