MIDI controllers
Being pretty green in the MIDI game, I am trying to start using control codes.
Kontakt/Sample Modeling state for example that The Trumpet (and no doubt others) will not work properly if CC 11 is not switched. I'm doing this via direct entry in an instrument track, and while I can get a sound, for sure it's not what I want. Various articulations are switchable via key switches and control codes, but even though I enter them in the MIDI event list, nothing happens. Some of the articultions call for values in addition to the switch, and I don't see how to do that either. So what am I missing, and is there any resource other than the "help" button that can guide me? |

Re: MIDI controllers
You really need to take a look at the PT manual for the answers. In the interim for the MIDI event list there are, from left to right:
measure number controller or note number controller value note duration (if there's a note in that line). |
