Reinstatement question
Hello!
I wound up going to register my reinstatement plan, but I may have done it wrong. I saw the renewal section AFTER I registered this reinstatement. However, I tried putting the reinstatement code in the box where it says to do so, but it says the code is wrong, and if I'm having trouble, click the link. When I click that link, it takes me to the place where I originally entered the code, so I think it was done properly maybe, because the renewal shows up in my account as a new product, it's just that it's asking for a system ID and I don't know which further actions to take. Did I screw something up because I should've put the code in the Pro Tools Annual Upgrade And Support Plan dropdown section? I looked at the instructions on the Sweetwater website, but I think I followed the directions for registering a new product, and not the renewal instructions. I think I may have to surrender a license in ilok too, but I don't want to screw things up even further haha Currently, the new registered reinstatement is asking me for a System ID, which I can't enter anything and submit it. If I click the drop down below, it shows my currently registered pro tools with system ID and ilok, and tells me to update or add the reinstatement code. EDIT: Shoot, I just saw there was a different section on the forums for software licensing and accounts. I hope I didn't post in the wrong area. My apologies if I did. Thank you!!! If I could ask one more question, do you know if Pro Tools 12.5 is still available in a legacy download? My old system has that. I can't see ever needing it as I want to update my old system anyway, but just in case.

One quick question I had, I'm working on a session that was done on my old system of 12.5.2, and I'm working on it in 2020.12.0. If I wind up saving it on 2020.12.0, will the session still play on my old system of 12.5.2 if I had to get back on there for some reason relatively soon? |
