Default Record enable when selected
I think this must be a setting I have checked, but I cannot find it. When I select an instrument channel it automatically enables record. A couple of times I did not realize it and it recorded over some stuff. I don't wish to enable record unless I do it manually. Any help is appreciated,

Have a look in the options menu at the record mode that is active.

Just loop record and it doesn't make a difference. I guess you were thinking the quick punch might be selected but it is not.

Thanks, I disabled my M-audio controller and it does not do it. Strange though that thread is three years old and no resolution. Thanks again.
