Default Boom Drum Machine as click - how do i?

Guys,
I have this drum machine set up as an insert on an Aux stereo track as a click track (prefer playing to a simple beat rather than a click).

This works fine but how do I get the drum machine to start playing when I press play on the protools transport?

It syncs to the protools tempo OK and stops when I press stop on protools transport but I have to start it mauanlly everytime which sucks.

I am sure its something simple I am missing - can anyone sort me out?
JG

Insert a midi note. Boom is triggered by midi notes from within PT. Each pattern in boom has it's own midi note. Make the note 1 bar long and it plays for 1 bar the pattern assigned to that midi note.

It had me puzzled for a few hours also... :)

Hello Johnrg

Keeping the same track and insert configuration, go to the Pro Tools Main Menus>Setup>Click/Countoff option. In the Click options check 'During play and record' and set the Click Output assignment to Boom.

Regards.
