Default 10-BaseT Ethernet Hub - Which Most Highly Recommended??

Yes, I did a search, which came up nada, and the D-Control manual states it is not included.

So, what are all you "power-users" using for ethernet hubs, for connecting all those ICON modules?

And, are there any esoteric issues regarding the ethernet domain, which are not covered in the manual?

Thanks in advance!

afaik it doesn't matter. 10 base T is the protocol so fast enough. I doubt a setup will relly benefit from 100 or giga hubs although ours is hooked up to a D link giga switch.

I would recommend a switch over a hub however .... although most of the usints I see these days are switches really. And of course if you have other computers on the network then get a gigabit router. Transfer between computers / network drives benefit from the routers' speed. But the Icon units are more then happy with 10 base T

Thanks Chris.

Is there a brand you would recommend?

FWIW I just use the same, inexpensive four port Linksys hub I already had in the studio to connect my two Macs (one is for music, one is not) to the internet. Just plugged both ethernet cables from the D-Command into the hub right alongside the two macs and never thought about it again.
