B4/Program changes
Hi all,
First off, I have always done audio recording and my experience with MIDI is pretty limited, thus this question. I know this is going to be an easy one, though... I am running B4 via Direct Connect (via aux channels bussed to audio channels) and it is working great. My question is that I would like to switch presets in B4 without having to click over to the NI application, adjust, and then switch back to PTLE. This is live playing via a controller so it is nothing concerning MIDI other than triggering the B4, but should I set up a MIDI track to do this? I tried this and maybe I have something set wrong (the controller is set to MIDI channel 9 as is all three of the B4 MIDI parameters). Also, I have OMS names installed and the names come up but when I click to change the patch, nothing happens. What could the simple fix of this be? I just want to stay in PTLE to audition new patches on the B4. Thanks so much in advance. nz
