Sidechain Compressor on groups: only Chanels selectable?
Hi,
Since I am new to venue systems I have a question, I want to have a sidechain compressor on a group and have another group as key input. From what I see in the software you can only choose input Chanel's as sidechain, is that correct? If so, what is the best way to get a workaround, right now I would put the output of the group that will be the key signal to a plugin and from the plugin back to a Chanel. That Chanel then acts as key input for the group I want to compres. Is there an easier way? There is a lot of patching involved in that method and I want to keep my mix files as simple as possible. |
