Sad, but funny Guinness story Bird Man..
I don't get the "only have draught left in the entire store" line. The can IS draught stout. At least in this parts

Not sure, but he sure took the media opportunity ! "This is the best equipment in the world, and I worked hard to bring it to Canada" on TV ! ..yeah....
" his plans are world domination "..where did you get that from ?

yeah it was a sad day for Guinness man.. I know the cans are Stout also, but for some reason they only had bottles in stock last night which is what led me to get the sixer to begin with. Me thinks scenerio 1: they were slacking and the guy just didn't know where the hell to look for another case for me. Scenerio 2: A lot of folks in Ypsi really dig G's that I am un-aware of. or Scenerio 3: Someone hijacked the Guinness dudes truck and there is about to be a national supply shortage which would be terrible for everyone.

anyways...

yeah, quite ironic how that dude is taking advantage of the media coverage after that "empty bus" hit his studio. Just out of curiousity, what type of gear did he have? I know a room that would probably blow his outta the water gear wise... You probably know the one I am talking about. hehe

its kinda funny when u regularly read stuff written in a different time zone. almost as if the day can be longer just by reading... its dark over this side of the pond and i think its time to head to a bar...

he he ..I never liked the bottled stuff, but hey...I'd take it over any local crap any day
OK, the dude..
He has come a long way in rebuilding and new gear since we last talked. He is one of the dozen SSL surround rooms in TO, but not deep or strong enough reputation. Yet, he "self - estimates" himself as a top North American facility..
His site here >> ..watch for pop ups
I am kinda glad that I didn't end up working out of there. Either with him or for him.
Now I'm in a low profile, secluded and very private studio and have no arguments, constant rate negotiating or bumped, interrupted sessions daily. OK, we don't have the SSL, but still running a pro, large format console. And our acoustics are very unique.
And..his hood is slated for total demolition, rezoning and redeveloping by the city for years !

Anyhoo..back to chopping drums for a "flexible timing/no click" tune..
be good...
