OMF with 44,1 and 48 kHz audio mixed?
I just wonder if there is still a problem exporting an OMF to ProTools 8 from FinalCutPro 6 if the audio clips on the timeline in FCP are both 44,1 kHz and 48 kHz. I know that broadcast is using 48 kHz, but it happens very often that our editors are importing sounds or music with 44,1 kHz, and that used to create sync problems when the OMF was imported into ProTools. - Is this still true?

Re: OMF with 44,1 and 48 kHz audio mixed?
At least with OMFs from AVID mixed sample-rates have been no problem since quite a long time (years actually). PT will simply SRC the mismatching clips to whatever the session´s rate is.
frank.
