I also just got a Mustang i V2. I know there's few presets in FUSE (on the Web) to download called "EMPTY" - they're basically just a dry preset with no effects, etc - turn the volume up as it's usually set on ZERO. On the front of the 11 run a cable to the input on the Mustang. I haven't tried it yet though.

EDIT: Works fine! Load the EMPTY preset into fuse (I saved it for easy access) - plugged my ax into the 11R - ran another guitar cable from "to amp" on the 11 - plugged it into the Mustang and turned the Master Volume up on the amp. Works! Sounds great through headphones.

You can use this as a USB interface, not what you want if you have an existing PT rig. You can use the headphone/line output straight into an interface, or just mic the cab the old fashioned way. You should see what sounds best for what you are trying to do. Lots of things affect this decision, like what exactly is your interface, if you can play/record the amp at decent volume, how the guitarist wants/expects to monitor what they are playing, etc.

for micing the cabinet you really need a decent mic and I am not into Live recording :) just want to get the signal coming out of the amp directly to my DAW :)

OK, but like everybody else you just start with a ~$100 SM57 or SM58 basic dynamic mic. Nothing high end there.

If it's basically the same driver as the Fender Floor, configure the Pro Tools Aggregate I/O in Audio MIDI Setup to include the Mustang Amplifier (and whatever other audio devices you are using) and then use the aggregate device for PT.

The Floor is the pedal version of the amp. Yes it will show up in the I/O, but you'll have to reconfigure the I/O for the aggregate. The naming in aggregate devices is weak at best. I think the only limitation is the Fender driver only supports 44.1k.
