What does "I discovered Metal amp Room in plugins" mean?

"in plugins" where exactly is that? Do you mean in Pro Tools, or you just discovered the Metal Amp Room plugin from Softube?

You can demo Metal Amp Room by downloading from the Softube website, its a cool plugin.

I just looked on my system and I don't see ANY of those plugins. Not in Inserts and not in the Avid or Digidesign folders on my Mac. Exactly where in your system are they - how do you instantiate them?

On a stereo track they're under INSERTS (Mixer) - Multichannel/Harmonic - Vintage amp room, Metal amp room and Feedbacker too. maybe Demo's??? Maybe when I installed the EXP Pack? I never owned any of them. I'll do a screen shot today for y'all.

Perhaps they are on your system from a earlier installation? That would make the most sense as there's no Metal Amp Room plugs that get installed with Pro Tools. Sounds like some installed the whole Softube demo while going for the free saturation plug.

no - no earlier install - I actually just bought the new Mac a week or so before getting my 11R & PT10 so didn't really install much except 16-gigs. Reaper & few plugins... here's the screenshot:

ps I love the Compressor

You've got plugins there that are NOT part of a PT 10 standard install. No Softube stuff, no Pod Farm. Did you have another version of PT installed by any chance?

In the Stereo Harmonics section I have:
Air Distortion (stereo)
Air Enhancer (stereo)
Air Frequency Shifter (stereo)
Air Lo-fi (stereo)
Air Talkbox (stereo)
Lo-Fi (stereo)
Recti-Fi (stereo)
SansAmp PSA-1 (stereo)

And in the MultiMono Harmonics section I have:
Eleven (because I got the 4 free plugins from Avid as a result of getting the 11R and PT10)
Eleven Free
Lo-Fi
Recti-FI
SansAmp PSA-1

Guess we'll have to chalk it up to magic then! Seriously, you want us to believe they just magically appeared on your system? Hmmmm, are you in one of the legalized states?

muhahaha - I do have Pod Farm stuff on there (I installed it when I was testing Reaper) - have a line 6 USB interface, a Boss GS-10 USB interface, a JamVox USB Interface, a Mustang I amp USB interface and an old Presonus Inspire firewire... but haven't a clue where I got the Softube stuff - never ran any version of PT before in my life????

The Softube feedbacker is pretty slick - I get feedback on headphones sometimes like a wall of Marshalls when sustaining a chord or note... Wondering if this NEW from the local Apple Store Mini was actually a pre-owned? Looked brand new in Shrink Wrap, etc...

THIS HAS ME TOTALLY BAFFLED? Does anyone have the TUBE TECH compressor?
