Default Annoying Registration window

....keeps popping up on my screen, asking me if I'm a new user or have upgraded. I check the "upgrade" box, and get a message in red that I am
already registered. Then the window pops up AGAIN. How do I make this go away?

Default PT10 Registration pop-up window

I registered PT10 as soon as it was installed. So why am I constantly prompted to register with a 'Welcome to Avid Product Registration!' window?

I repeatedly click the 'I have upgraded my Pro Tools software' option, which confirms that I'm already registered.

How do I disable this thing?! Kinda driving me nuts

Mac or PC? You can delete or rename /Applications/Avid/Pro Tools/ProToolsRegistration.app on Mac, don't know the path on PC, maybe a search would help. I've done it when I was on PT9 and it helped, haven't encountered this with 10.

Cheers.

Default PT Registration bug?

Hi,

I am running this:

ProTools 10.2
MacBook Pro 2.5GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM
Mac OS 10.7.4
AVID MBox Pro

My ProTools registration window keeps opening over and over, every 30 minutes or so. It is version 1.3 of the registration software?

I am using the laptop for some other work, away from where I have the hardware. Why is this a problem?

Anyways. This is happening without running Pro Tools, and without having the iLok2 inserted, nor the MBox Pro connected.

IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS. Why does it ask me to register the ProTools over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ?

I registered the hardware and software the day I bought it, successfully.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Isn't one of the options on that pop-window something like "I'm upgrading from a previous version" or something like that? If you choose that one it should stop.
