ProTools and AFP volume..
So.. umm.. I didn't really think about checking to see if this would work before I bought a ReadyNas NV+ 4TB NAS for everything, including my Pro Tools sessions.
It appears that Workspace will not let me set the volume, mounted via AFP, NFS, or CIFS to a Record or Playback device. Is this possible some how? Future functionality? Does iSCSI work? |

Re: ProTools and AFP volume..
ProTools will not work on Network Volumes(Record/Playback) except Transfer Volumes.
iSCSI works with certain sofrware and hardware configurations only ie: http://www.dynamicdrivepool.com/ http://www.studionetworksolutions.com/products/ http://commandsoft.com/ Check also these threads http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=227234 http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=250196 |
