Digi compatible Firewire PCI in UK
Hi
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a recommended Firewire controller PCi Card in the UK. I am running 7.4 m-powered and have an OWC elite pro ext HD. I am receiving delayed write errors and wonder if this is being caused by my cheapo existing FW 400 adaptor. There are 2 mentioned on this page: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...5&itemid=23113 One website does not deliver to the UK. The other charges £50+ for delivery. Does anyone know where I can order one of the cards in the UK without breaking the bank? I saw one uk retailer trying to sell one of these for £60, this seems unreasonable given the US price was about a 3rd of that. Thanks |

Re: Digi compatible Firewire PCI in UK
Look for that card on ebay from a seller that ships internationally. I wouldn't think the shipping would be more than $15-20 for an item that small. A quick search of the bay turned up several available with worldwide shipping.
