Default Best Al-Gore-Rhythms for time compression?

What recommendations do y'all have out there?

Well it sure ain't Pro Tools!

Gonna try out Time Bandit if nobody has a better suggestion. As you know- nobody is perfect!

Nobody is perfect. True. And my therapist suggested a more radical approach. This will have to do for now...

Why can't we, the Protoolariat, have an RAS wrapper like the Digital Performer folks?

Then I can use TimeBandit VST?

Life is unfair. Check out: www.MacAddict.com VST wrapper 1.01 from Audio Ease.

Shaggy,
Everybody I ask says Serato Pitch n'Time is the only way... I'll let you know. The catch: $700. Sheesh.

A kind fella told me he tried Pn'T and wasn't happy... he suggested Timefactory from Prosoniq.

Shaggy's gotta shed some...

With the 001

Vision won't import 24 bit w/o Digi hardware which it can't 'dance' with.

Cubase won't find any MIDI interfaces with its new ASIO driver.

Logic will freeze using its new ASIO Direct i/o.

Digital Performer won't dance either!

What's a good DAWg to do? Buy TimeFactory? Use Cubase VST 4 DSP? Run Vision for MIDI?

Maybe the good people at Digidesign will help me set up the IAC driver in the meantime?

AS FAR as this dawg can see...the race is on. Whoever gets there first. Motu.Logic.Steinberg. The winner gets the bone.

Serato Pitch N' Time is an audiosuite plugin.

It's the best thing out there.

Worth at least $3000. $700 is a steal.

Haven't yet been able to figure out sonicWORX. Guess I'm impatient. Where do you get Serato Pitch and Time? Been to Steinberg, MIDIaudio, and Prosoniqs- neither of which you can buy TimeFactory online. Guitar Sewer never heard of it of course. Check it out. You go to the online shops and TimeFactory isn't there!
